🎶 Lyrics — Garden of Grace

A Song Inspired by This Teaching: “Nobody Taught Adam and Eve...” (Song Version)

Show Lyrics

VERSE 1

Nobody taught Adam and Eve how to move,
How to love in Eden’s groove.
God said, “Be fruitful,” not “Be fearful,”
He gave the rhythm, made it beautiful.

PRE-CHORUS

No shame, no blame, just light on skin,
Two hearts dancing where love begins.

CHORUS

In the garden of grace, oh we love unashamed,
Under heaven’s gaze, our joy’s proclaimed.
Holy fire, holy flame,
God smiles when we call each other’s name.

VERSE 2

Boundaries not bans, fences not walls,
Pleasure’s a hymn when the Spirit calls.
Pure affection, not corruption,
Unity sweet like a new creation.

BRIDGE

No pollution in devotion,
Love’s our holy motion.
From body to soul, we praise His name,
In covenant rhythm, we burn aflame.

OUTRO

Nobody taught Adam and Eve how to make love—
They just moved with the heartbeat of God above.

Today, many believers still wonder: How can Christian couples enjoy sexual pleasure deeply and freely without offending God? Let’s separate divine truth from religious assumptions and rediscover what Scripture teaches about holy pleasure.

1. God Set Boundaries, Not Bans

From Genesis to Revelation, God’s commands concerning sexuality were never about style but about sanctity. Scripture warns against certain practices not to restrict pleasure, but to protect purity. God’s boundaries are fences around a sacred garden — not walls around a prison.

Prohibited practices (scriptural examples):

  • Homosexual acts — Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26–27.
  • Bestiality — Leviticus 18:23.
  • Incest — Leviticus 18:6 and surrounding passages.
  • Adultery and fornication — Leviticus 18:20; Matthew 5:27–28.

“Whosoever shall do any of these abominations… shall be cut off from among their people.” — Leviticus 18:29

2. The Marriage Bed Is Holy, Not Boring

“Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled.” — Hebrews 13:4

The marriage bed is a temple, not a taboo. God didn’t dictate techniques or positions; He ordained purity, faithfulness, and love. What matters is the heart posture, not the body posture. When husband and wife come together in trust, tenderness, and mutual consent, their pleasure becomes a form of worship.

3. When Pleasure Turns to Pollution

While sex within marriage is holy, certain acts can still defile it. When couples import the world’s perversions — pornography, roleplay that glorifies sin, lust for others, or acts that cause harm — the sacred becomes profane.

Discernment checklist:

  • Does this honor my spouse or objectify them?
  • Does this express love or indulge lust?
  • Does this act glorify God or feed the flesh?

When guilt and defilement follow pleasure, the Holy Spirit is whispering, “This isn’t Me.”

4. Holy Exploration: The Art of Mutual Discovery

Within the boundaries of marriage, freedom flows. Couples can explore one another without shame — learning, laughing, and delighting in each other’s uniqueness.

“They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” — Genesis 2:25

When there’s no deception, no guilt, and no impurity — exploration becomes worship. Touch becomes testimony. Pleasure becomes prayer.

5. Sacred Pleasure, Holy Freedom

So, what’s the right way to have sex as a Christian couple?

  • With the right person — your spouse.
  • In the right spirit — love, not lust.
  • Within the right boundaries — purity, not corruption.

“The right way to have sex is the way that keeps love sacred, conscience clean, and God honored.”

Final Thoughts

Nobody taught Adam and Eve how to make love. They didn’t need instruction manuals or moral panic. They simply loved, and God called it good.

Love freely. Explore purely. Delight deeply.
